After nearly 18 months of construction, Richland Library opened the doors to its new Sandhills location and invited the community to check out the new, state-of-the-art facility. As seen on ABC Columbia, Richland Library staff, local officials and the community took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 19. "Libraries are so important in the 21st century," said Executive Director Melanie Huggins. "People really need to come together to share ideas and get info in places they trust."
